Welcome to Westside Suns Basketball Club 🧡💙
Westside the Bestside.
We’re more than just a club — we’re a vibrant, family-friendly community where every child belongs. Based in Melbourne’s Inner-West, Westside Suns is proud to provide inclusive, grassroots basketball opportunities for boys and girls of all ages and abilities.
From first dribbles to competitive play, our programs are designed to build skills, confidence, teamwork, and lifelong friendships. With over 800 young players aged 3 to 18, there’s a place for everyone on our courts.
Whether your child is just starting out in our Lil’ Suns and Junior Suns programs or developing their game through our Rising Suns Academy and domestic teams, we’re here to support their journey every step of the way.

Westside Suns Lil' & Junior Suns Indoor Programs cater for children aged 3 to 8 years old. Thanks to the support of our sponsor, RCL Group, the program is priced at just $40 for Lil' Suns and $65 for Junior Suns.

Rising Suns
AcADEMY
The Westside Suns Game Ready Basketball Program is passionate that all of our players receive consistently strong foundational basketball skills and game sense.
The Rising Suns Academy is our skills-based U8 development program, designed to give young players a fun and supportive start in basketball. It’s the perfect bridge between beginner training and competitive basketball, ensuring every child builds strong foundations from the start.
