WESTSIDE SUNS PROGRAMS
Westside Suns Basketball Club have developed a series of programs designed to promote skill development, engage girls and boys in sport, make friends and have fun.
Our Lil' Suns and Junior Suns Program form a pathway to provide skills and understanding to allow our youngest players to successfully transition to playing for the Westside Suns in an Under 10's competition.
These Westside Suns Programs are proudly supported by RCL Group. This support allows the club to offer these programs to the community at below cost.

Lil' SUNS PROGRAM
For 3 to 4 year olds
Lil’ Suns is a beginners basketball program that provides girls and boys between 3 to 4 year olds the opportunity to experience basketball for the first time.
Lil’ Suns program is designed to provide a positive environment for exploration, inclusion, basic motor skills acquisition and having fun.
Our 8-week, 30 minute session program is priced at just $35.
An additional new-starters pack for $15 must be purchased in a child's first term with the program, which includes a program t-shirt.
Junior Suns
PROGRAM
For 5 to 8 year olds
Junior Suns is a beginners basketball program designed for 5 to 8 year olds, with a focus on individual skill development, whilst encouraging participation and teamwork through fun games and competitive activities.
Junior Suns runs for 8-weeks, with 60 minute sessions, priced at just $60.
An additional new-starters pack for $28.75 must be purchased in a child's first term with the program, which includes a basketball and a program t-shirt.

Head of Development
Program Lead
Nathan is the Westside Suns Head of Development. In this role, he manages the Lil' Suns and Junior Suns programs and serves as the primary contact for any inquiries related to these programs.
Nathan brings a wealth of coaching experience as Accredited Performance Coach. His background encompasses coaching in various settings, including the National Performance Program, State/Future Programs, as well as Representative and Domestic competitions.

Emily is the Head Coach for our Junior Suns Program (5-8 year old's).
Emily is a Accredited Club Basketball Coach and has significant playing experience with representative level basketball. Emily has been coaching these programs since February 2020.
