Joining Westside
Westside the Bestside – building skills, confidence, and community from U8 to U19 currently
We are currently seeking interest for Winter 26 season
Rising Suns Academy (U8)
At Westside, we focus on building strong basketball foundations from the start.
The Rising Suns Academy is our skill-based Under 8 program, offering Saturday morning training at FCPS, led by Westside-accredited coaches.
Optional Friday games at RecWest Braybrook are available for those ready to compete.
New Players in Under 10s
All players are welcome to apply for our U10 teams.
Priority placement is given to children from our Westside Junior Programs, helping them transition alongside familiar teammates for confidence and connection.
When to Apply:
New U10 teams are formed in Terms 1 and 3. Contact Sophie.
During this time, U10 players may join the Rising Suns Academy to start building connections with their new team.
